Terms of Service

VA Home Connect (the "Service") is a marketplace that connects Virginia home sellers with licensed Virginia real estate professionals. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

Preliminary agreements only

Any digital acknowledgement, signature, or acceptance recorded through VA Home Connect represents a preliminary agreement of terms between the parties. Final representation is executed exclusively through a Virginia Association of REALTORS® (VAR) Exclusive Right to Sell Agreement facilitated through the participating agent's affiliated brokerage.

Brokerage services & licensing

VA Home Connect is a real estate referral platform. It is owned and operated by Shawn Keehan, a real estate salesperson licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia (License #0225279803), affiliated with Samson Properties, a licensed Virginia real estate brokerage (Office Phone: 757-356-2457).

All real estate brokerage services are performed exclusively through Samson Properties under a written brokerage agreement. Use of this website does not create an agency relationship, and no agency relationship exists until a written agreement is signed.

Commissions & referral fees

Commission rates and fees are fully negotiable between sellers and agents and are not set by law or any association. Participating agents owe VA Home Connect a referral fee when an introduced transaction closes, calculated as a percentage of the gross listing-side commission.

Because referral compensation may only be paid through a licensed brokerage, the referral fee is paid broker-to-broker to Samson Properties at settlement. It is never charged to sellers or buyers.
